I was really stupid and i have learned, but i took out several payday loans and not my intent but they all bounced, and over a month went by and i am still unable to pay these off. I have made arrangments with all of them that i have contact information for, others i do not. I received a call a week ago from an atoruney in CA saying that in 2 hours i would be arrested if i do not pay them 795.xx within 30 minutes and on store baught gift cards (visa). I did hussel to do this as i didn’t want to jail. I called asking for a recept today but they said they are going to call me on monday to do the same thing for another lender that i can’t recall. They were not going to give me a recept until i pay for this one too, but i insted, they said they will give me one at the end of the day via email.
Is this ligit? Can i be put in jail for this? They say it was fraud and false information. I am starting to worry that i am being scammed, or near it. I want to work with them my intent is to pay, however i don’t want to be husseled, over and over again.
Please help!

Im trying to find a online loan sorce for a friend who has no computer and bad credit. But I need one that works and dont take you to a bunch of other sites. And it not a title loaner or a payday loan
I’m just looking for an online loan company that will let me pay back over time and not take the full amount out of a couple of paydays. Kind of in a bind here and need to apply quickly.
I am Shabbir from Pakistan. I have worked with Dubai Government Company from June 2008 to June 2009. I was resigned in June 2009 with one month notice period but before completion of notice period i came to Pakistan due to serious medical problem of my Father. I want to go back in Dubai but my new employer in Pakistan was not giving me more time and insists to join as soon. Because
I have already resigned therefore no way accept join to new employer so i sent a fax to my previous company (Dubai) and requested about Visa cancelation.
Because i had resigned and conceived that company will cancel my visa automatic.
Recently a UAE company applied vise for my interview but visa was not issued due to someone put a case at me and I can’t enter in UAE.
I have contacted to HR of previous company after so many e-mails and telephonic calls, they sent me final settlement in which some outstanding dues were remaining from my side.
Even the company didn’t demand outstanding dues trough e-mails or sent a letter.
Now I have paid the outstanding dues and visa cancelation fee (Total = 5000 Dirhams) and submit my passport to company for visa cancelation process.
One weak has been passed and they didn’t reply me yet about Visa cancelation. Before the paying of amount they told me 4 to 5 days are required for Visa cancelation process.
Keeping in view I didn’t take any bank loan or use a credit card even I have not use the bank check book.
Someone told me that because I was absconding so they will impose a life time ban at me. I have following queries.
1. Is it UAE rule to impose a life time ban to the abscond employee?
2. Why they consider me abscond because I resigned? May be the turn down my resignation. I resigned through software utility and I don’t have proof.
3. Can I pay the plenty and get rid from ban?
4. What should I do now?
